PerkMaxxing ("the app", "we") helps you track credit card perks and benefits. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, name, and chosen username when you create an account (via email/password or Sign in with Apple).
- App data you create: the credit cards you select, perk usage you record, and notification preferences.
- Community content: tips, comments, and votes you post are visible to other users under your username.
- Feedback and reports: feedback you submit and content reports you file.
- Diagnostics: if the app encounters an error, we record technical details (error message, screen name, OS version) linked to your account ID so we can fix bugs.
What we do NOT collect
- We never ask for card numbers, bank logins, or any financial account credentials. The app does not connect to your bank or card issuer.
- Face ID is processed entirely on your device by Apple. We never receive biometric data.
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
How your information is used
- To provide the app: syncing your cards and perk usage across sessions.
- To send you perk-expiry reminders you have enabled (delivered locally on your device).
- To operate the community: showing your tips and comments to other users.
- To fix bugs and improve reliability.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, on servers located in the United States, protected by row-level security so each user can only access their own records.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your personal information (email, name, username) and permanently deactivates your account. Community posts you made are anonymized rather than removed. This cannot be undone.
Children
PerkMaxxing is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new date above.
